2. Information We Store Permanently

To maintain your profile, the rankings, and your "Aura" history, the following data is stored on our secure servers for the lifetime of your account:

Identity: Legal name, chosen username, and email address.
Academic Info: Your current grade and the school you are verified with.
Visuals: Your profile picture and any custom avatar settings.

3. Temporary Data Handling

Certain data is processed to set up your experience or track current gameplay and is purged periodically:

Location Services: We may request your location during setup to verify your school. This precise data is not stored permanently and is only used for initial geofencing.
Gameplay Logs: Recent poll history and temporary "Stamina" states are stored to manage your current session and prevent voting manipulation.

4. Anonymous Interactions

By design, voting in Shipped is anonymous. While our servers track who you voted for to calculate Aura and prevent spam, this information is not revealed to other users unless they explicitly use the "Reveal" feature as described in the app.

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. By using Shipped, you acknowledge this inherent risk.
